| World Theatre Day ~ March 27th On Friday, March 25th, 2011 we invited Ovation’s students and parents and families and friends to come to the studio and participate in a video to celebrate World Theatre Day which is celebrated annually on March 27th. What happened was spectacular! ....... Wow! Two of Canada’s most accomplished musical theatre artists came to help create our video of the Canadian World Theatre Day Message! Louise Pitre and Adam Brazier, working together at Theatre 20, supported the event and helped deliver this important message. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event! It was a great day - a terrific experience. We also can't thank Louise and Adam enough for taking the time out of their incredibly busy lives to help communicate this message. Their work with Theatre 20 mirrors on a much larger scale, the work we do here at Ovation!, supporting the development of Canada's emerging artists. Fostering creativity, encouraging the presentation of our uniquely Canadian voice. It was thrilling to share our space with such talented, caring and giving people. It was amazing! And a special nod to Brian at GreenMan Video! Kudos to all! ~ Bonnie This was a FREE EVENT - just for fun and to share the message of using the arts to work towards a culture of peace and humanity.
